Members of the Leeds Branch of the Royal Scottish Dance Society walk out onto the green at West Burton to the applause of an audience. In traditional dress and tartan they begin to perform for the crowd accompanied by a man playing an accordion. A Samoyed dog walks past with some of the dancers stopping to stroke its furry coat. The performance ends and the crowd applaud.
Accompanied by three fiddle players a group of German folk dancers begins to perform a traditional dance for the watching audience. The audience applauds as two of the male dancers begin to walk across past by lifting each other into the air by the ankles, more dancing follows. The film ends with the German dancers leaving the display area to the applause of the crowd.
