A woman comes out of her house into her back garden carrying a mesh bag of peanuts which she hangs from a nearby bird table. Sitting on a nearby stump a starling singing. A second starling walks along a wall looking for food while a sparrow feeding on the nuts pecking at them through the mesh bag. The woman watches from a distance with a smile.
On the roof of a house a large black crow or raven changes to the woman coming out of her house carrying a paper bag of breadcrumbs which she sprinkles onto the bird table. She leaves and a starling jumps down from a tree taking a crumb, it is followed by a robin doing the same. From their perch two starlings, while one sings the other jumps down to the table for more breadcrumbs. The starlings watch as a sparrow takes a piece of bread from the table. Watched by the woman the sparrow pecks the peanuts in the bag.
A blue tit sitting on a stump changes to two of them pecking at the peanuts. One flies back to its perch to prune itself before retuning to the nuts and again being watched by the woman. The blue tits continue to eat away at the peanuts and the film ends with the net now end and the closing credit attached to it.
