Mrs Hardin expresses her satisfaction with the process and outcome of the service. Ray Glindon carries on with paperwork in the mobile unit. He speaks on camera about managers are now willing to listen to a new ideas and implement them where they can.

Jan Piers and Alison Darn appear again to ask a question based on the observations of participants in the film; is North Tyneside a modern pace setting council?

On screen Councillor Stringfellow gives her thoughts on the work of the council. Views accompany the councillor’s statement of services and premises provided by the council.
Jan Piers and Alison Darn appear again, they are seen at a promotional event talking on camera of the benefits of the ‘Investors in People’ management initiative.

They talk about their initiatives to introduce the Investors in People programme to the council. The next question they introduce is given the progress over the last few years how does the council progress? Several people appear on screen to give their views.

He proposes that the first class services seen in the film be developed across the county. He also advocates personal development programmes for managers. He also suggests that workforce morale can be supported by making each worker feel that they can make a difference for themselves and for North Tyneside services.
The film shows clips from earlier sections of the film showing different council services. On screen, contributors give their views of the future work of the council.
