The third and final short film produced as part of a ‘Keep Sheffield Tidy’ campaign features pupils from Parkhouse Secondary School performing as the band ‘Danny and the Dustbin’ singing a song about graffiti.
Two South Asian girls introduce a musical group; ‘Danny and the Dustbin’. Over the sounds of people clapping and cheering a group walking through a room, the floor littered with rubbish.
The two lead singers of ‘Danny and the Dustbin’ stand at a microphone dancing along to the opening of their song. They begin to sing, beside them three female backup singers. A video effect superimposes another image over their own featuring other members of the band.
An underpass with graffiti on the wall changes back to the studio where the song was being sung and someone pretention to clean a wall of graffiti.
End credit: This video was made by pupils from Parkhouse Secondary School between March 4 = 7 1986
