Title: 3rd Potternewton Girl Guide Camp Harrogate
In a field several tent while nearby a group of Girl Guides, some of whom are disabled, stand around chatting. Four Girl Guides step out of a tent holding plates and travel cutlery. A stove has been set up and several Girl Guides and their leaders work to prepare a meal. The meal cooked some of the guides prepare for serving while the troop line up in readiness.
A woman sits in the grass reads a book while a Girl Guide appears to be packing a tent into a large canvas sack. Nearby other Girl Guides do some washing up while another wearing a sling takes a photograph of the person behind the camera.
A fire pit with two billy cans on it and five Girl Guides work to prepare another meal. An older leader on crutches comes out of a tent while two Girl Guides clean or polishes a pot.
The troop gather around a flagpole for the camps closing ceremony. They salute as the Union Jack is lowered and removed from the pole. The group disperse as two of the guides fold up the Union Jack.
A large cooking pot sits on a fire and a table is set up nearby with food. Around the camp Girl Guides work together to take down their tents and pack them into large sacks. The tents down they work to clear away the site watched over by their leaders.
