A woman and her two children walk arm-in-arm along a terraced street. On the Town Moor at Newcastle the girl points towards the rides and attractions at the Hopping’s Fair in the distance.
People enjoying the various rides at the fair including a swing ride, a carousel, and a Ferris wheel. The two children feature either waving from a ride or running past to get to other rides. At night the rides and attractions lit up with neon and bulbs.
At an attraction a pair of hand roll coins onto a painted table changes to show the fairground at dusk lit up with neon and bulbs. People try to make it across a cake-walk ride without falling over changes to people enjoying a Meteor ride which is also filmed from on the ride.
A couple pull their child in a buggy across the show field changes to show more rides lit up at dusk including several different Waltzer and swing rides with one ride named ‘Astronaut’. Crowds walk past the various rides and attractions.
The two children run down a terraced street and get into a car parked in the road, their mother gets in, and the car drives away with the driver waving at the camera as he passes.
A different woman stands with the two children beside another car parking in a road, a dog runs up to the boy.
On a beach a small dog digs around in the sand, nearby the girl is also digging a hole in the sand. A man comes over to the boy and girl who are both digging in the sand. The children sit in an indenture in the sand before doing gymnastics.
Commercial stock footage of Arabian men on horseback racing through a desert changes to the children on the beach running towards camera. The dog splashes about in the surf.
An older man comes down a set of steps beside a house or building and looks at the camera. The film ends with him getting into a car.
