A display of toys, dolls and a Monopoly set in a Christmas shop window. A man crosses the road in front of the store which has Christmas lighter hanging around the window. Northumberland Street in Newcastle with Christmas lights and decorations hanging across the street. The Cathedral Church of St Nicholas with traffic passing along St Nicholas Square.
A small boy stands at a shop window watching a Christmas themed animatronic display, his mother joins him. The display features an animatronic Santa Claus appears to climb a pole and an animatronic of a snake-charmer.
Decorative Christmas trees on a platform changes to show possibly the same trees lit up with lights at night. A phantom car ride along a road lit up with lights and decorations hanging across it as well as outside a department store.
In the dining room of a house a woman and small boy sit at a table wrapping Christmas presents. The woman writes a Christmas message in a card, the boy places a decoration into a plastic wrapper.
A man polishes the decorations on a Christmas tree and then hangs decorations from the ceiling. Upstairs his son fast asleep in bed while back downstairs the lights on the tree are turned on showing the other decorations hang down from the ceiling.
More Christmas lights on a shopping street changes to presents laid out on a floor. Still in their pyjamas an older boy carries a sleepy younger boy into the living room. Two small children begin unwrapping their presents. Outside in the snow a car parked outside a terraced houses change back to the children continuing to unwrap and play with their new toys with one child riding around on a tricycle.

Through a pinhole lens three apartment blocks in the distance, possibly Cruddas Park in Newcastle. Sitting on the sofa the mother blows bubbles into the air which are attempted to be caught by her son.
