An amateur film produced by Ken Ellwood that are believed to be a compilation of clips from several air shows taking place between 1964 and 1966. Wife Kath looks into the air to see various aircraft and display teams performing aerobatic in the sky above her including the RAF Aerobatic team the Red Arrows who formed in 1964.
A Percival Provost trainer aircraft performing a display of stunts in the sky about an airfield. David and Deborah Ellwood look up into the sky watching the display from the family car. Their mother Kath uses binoculars to watch the show.
On the ground beside a hanger the pilot polishes the windscreen on another Percival Provost (Reg: WV677) while speaking with a woman standing nearby. A young David Ellwood walks over to the aircraft and poses beside it. Kath looks up into the sky again with her binoculars to see a de Havilland Vampire performs an aerobatic display overhead.
A group of dignitaries, several in mayoral chains, make their way past a group of spectators seated nearby. A large crowd watches as four RAF de Havilland Chipmunk taxis in onto the runway and take off in formation, David and Deborah in the family car wave.
Overhead a display team of six jet aircraft perform an aerobatic demonstration followed by a display by the Red Arrows flying a formation of seven Folland Gnat trainer aircraft.
