A home movie produced by Ken Ellwood of a fishing trip to Loch Drumbeg on the remote northwest coast of Scotland. Arriving by car Kath, John and Peter Ellwood make their way to the loch by foot where the boys go fishing catching a Trout. They walk back along a sandy beach where Peter Ellwood goes walking in the surf. A car is parked along a track surrounding by rocky hills and Kath Ellwood and her sons John and Peter follow a path towards Loch Drumbeg, the boys carry fishing rods. In the distance John casts his line in the water. Now closer it is Peter who casts his line while John unhooks a Trout from his line placing it on the rocks nearby. Peter catches a tiddler which John unhooks and returns to the loch. They both cast their lines one more time. Kath Ellwood walks to the top of a hill that overlooks the loch and surrounding landscape, John follows nearby carrying his rod. On a sandy beach Peter splashes around in the surf watched by his brother and mother. Waves splash onto the beach.
