From the trackside various views of the train in the platform as well as other rail enthusiasts including wife Kath and son’s John and Peter. The film ends on the train pulling out of the station to continue its charter journey. The LNER Class 4 60019 Bitten pulls into a wet Skipton railway station. A nameplate attached to the front of the locomotive reads ‘The Mancunian’. From the trackside general views of the engine with steam coming from various locations. A small crowd watches from a distance as the tender is filled with water, a man walks around Bittern checking it over. From behind a barrier Kath Ellwood stands with sons John and Peter admiring Bittern. Bitten begins to steam up in readiness for departure before slowly pull out of the station passing under a bridge and past a signal box. A crowd has gathered along the track, several spectators taking photographs of the train as it passes.
