Aunty Doris stands on the front doorstep of the filmmaker’s home on Tarn Moor Crescent in Skipton. David’s best man and ushers appear from inside and make their way down the driveway following Aunty Doris. David and her pose beside a Rolls Royce parked on the road as someone takes their photograph. Standing on the driveway the best man and ushers have their photograph taken by a woman. Two more men appear from the house, one in a kilt.
A woman in a floral dress approaches the house changes to a woman helping a man put on a corsage, behind him the ushers standing on the driveway and a couple taking photographs. Nearby two young couples stand, one of the men wears a morning suit. Two women appear from the house, one holds hands with the filmmakers grand-daughter Emily while the other identified as Kath Ellwood carries grand-son George. Emily walks along the garden wall watched by Kath and Emily’s father, more women come out of the house.
Outside St Stephen’s Church family and guests arrive standing around the entrance chatting, in the background a photographer takes pictures of some of the guests as they arrive. A bridesmaid in pink and carrying a bouquet walks past followed by other guests. A man with a video camera captures the scene, the vicar comes out of the church.
David and Mandy appear in the church doorway and are posed for official photographs. A bridesmaid joins them alongside the best man. More photographs of family and friends are taken.
As they walk through the churchyard confetti is thrown over the happy couple, they pose for the camera in the road outside the church as more confetti is thrown. Emily is given some confetti which she throws in the direction of her uncle. The couple pose beside the Rolls Royce, a small boy is given confetti which he throws at the couple. They get into the Rolls Royce and pose for the camera.
Outside the Devonshire Arms Hotel David and Mandy again pose beside the Rolls Royce for more photographs. The photographer poses them in the correct position for his camera, they turn towards the film camera and pose for it. The film ends on them kissing.
