A home movie by Ken Ellwood of a family skiing holiday with wife Kath and sons John and Peter to the Alpine town of Seefeld in Austria. Alpine lodges and hotels in the town of Seefield in Austria, in the background the Wetterstein and Karwendel ranges. Kath, John and Peter walk through the town, the boys carrying their skis. A horse-drawn alpine carriage passes a multicoloured sign pointing towards the various ski runs around the resort. A group of students gather for a ski-school, John or Peter clip on their skis and slides with them on the snow. The boys take a drag lift up a gentle slope. At the top a man and boy jump off making their way to the top of the run followed by John and Peter who reach the top and make their way to the start of the run. They begin to ski down the slope each picking up speed as they pass through a grove of trees. The boys come to a stop and Kath walks over towards them. Kath walks past skiers sitting at tables outside a couple of bars or restaurants passing a stand where everyone’s skiers are stored. As she looks towards the slopes a man in yellow and black ski past while one of two young men nearly falls over as he skis past. Several skiers ski slowly along a track that passes underneath a chairlift. A woman in red skis past, in the background snow covered mountains. A woman in white follows a man in yellow down a slope. Kath comes along a path, behind her steep snow-covered mountains changes to skiers sunbathing on rows of deckchairs. From a chairlift travelling downhill the camera follows John and Peter as the ski below, Kath rides in a chair in front. At the bottom John and Peter after their run.
