Title: Middlesbrough Rotary Club in association with Littlewoods Title Wet ‘N’ Wild 1996 In a car park a group of adults and children stand around waiting. A boy with an artificial leg and carrying a Middlesbrough Football Club bag walks over to a red minibus parked nearby. Another red bus is parked next to it, nearby a Variety Club Sunshine Coach with children already onboard. A group of children gather outside Wet n’ Wild Water Park at North Shields. With many wearing t-shirts that read ‘Kids Out’ they walk along a pavement towards the entrance accompanied by adults several of whom are also wearing the ‘Kids Out’ t-shirt. In the car park behind them one of the red minibuses seen previously and several children in a wheelchair being pushed towards the entrance. As they make their way inside the pass a large sign that reads ‘Welcome to Wet ‘n’ Wild’. Inside several children make their way down a set of stairs passing a ‘lazy river’ on which ride past more children and adults on rubber rings. Beside the river two jacuzzi in which sit some of the children watching their friends pass. In another part of pool children come down a waterslide. In the Crusoe’s Gallery café, a group of men in ‘Kids Out’ t-shirt sit chatting while children collect trays of fast-food from the kiosk. In the pool two girls and two boys come down a waterslide sitting in large rubber rings. Back in the café some of the group sit at tables eating their meals while other stand in a line waiting to collect their food. Outside the children make their way back along the pavement towards the waiting coaches and minibuses in the car park. A mini bus for Ormesby Comprehensive School departs followed by one of the red minibuses and finally the Variety Club Sunshine Coach with those onboard waving as they pass. Back in the car park from the start of the film Littlewoods carrier bags are handed out from the boot of a car to the children as they get off their buses. They stand around in groups looking at what’s inside before leaving for home.
