Along the route spectators watches as riders carefully negotiate muddy tracks and steep rocky ravines. Judges with clipboards mark down anyone who falls or stalls their motorbikes. [Colour] Along a country road beside a stone wall a group of men and women stand around some chatting while others look over maps. A long line of cars are parked along the verge. A man on a motorcycle rides carefully along a muddy track watched by a group of men one of whom is writing something on a clipboard. More riders drive past along the track passing the same official. [B&W] A line of spectators along another part of the route watches as various motorbikes and their riders traverse anoth5 muddy track, each riding carefully trying not to stall their bike of fall off. Riders come around a large boulder driving along a track through bush or heather. They appear atop a steep ravine and begin to carefully descend the rocky ravine and make a sharp left turn around a guidewire at the bottom. Atop another ravine a group of spectators watches as riders carefully drive past, another judge is amongst the crowd holding a clipboard. One fallen rider gets up and gets back onto his motorcycle. The film ends on another rider coming down the ravine.
