An amateur film from the Jackson collection, this film shows some members of the Morley Cycling Club on a cycling trip around Scotland.
A car drives along a road as the camera takes shots of the countryside from out the window. This cuts to shots taken from the front of the car as they follow three cyclists along a country road. The cyclists are seen from a number of different roads and different angles. They stop at a stream, fill their cups with water and have a drink.
There is a shot of the cyclists taken from a distance away; they cycle across a stone bridge and then along the edge of a lake. They cross a loch on a ferry and there are shots of the crossing taken from the deck and also of them arriving on the other side. They push their bicycles up a hill towards the camera and along a narrow country road that overlooks a loch. They pass through a small, loch-side village with mountains in the background. There is a shot taken from a village road watching as one of the cyclists comes out of a local butcher shop, carrying a small package. He walks across the road and over to his bicycle.
In the next section, the camera in on a slight height looking down at the cyclists who leave their bicycles against a fence and walk over to the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. There are some panning shots up and down the coast. There are a few brief shots of someone working on a hand loom.
The cyclists pass along an open, country road past a small cluster of small cottages and past a castle. They cycle along roads and tracks through the highlands, along beside lakes and across high, stone bridges. There are some panning shots of a large lake, the surrounding mountains and the cyclists coming along a road towards the camera. They stop at a signpost and consult a map and then they walk across a little footbridge. One of the men stands beside a sign for `Laggan' and then the shot cuts to them folding and packing up their tents in a field. There are a few final shots of open countryside and empty roads.
