In this film the ship travels south toward Portugal with one of the crew on deck using a sextant to chart a course while another working on the upkeep of the boat. Views of a small port and town possibly Portugal. The Unda von Kappeln at sea, and Simon Isherwood using a sextant. Nearby, another member of the crew paints a section of the boat while Simon uses the sextant reading to mark a map. Back on deck it is getting dark, a man pulls on a rope to put up or take down a sail. The Unda von Kappeln is now docked along a quayside in a Portuguese port, nearby another vessel the Temerario. The anchor is dropped into the water changing to a beach where a number of local men and women work together to a fishing net. The film ends on a narrow street of tall houses on both sides.
