Summary The first of four amateur films shot by a group of young wardens living on the Farne Islands for a season and used as part of an edition of the BBC Look North and Cumbria series 'Close Up North'. Filmed between June and August the footage features the warden at work on the island and views if various seabirds and their chick. The beginning of the tape shows a warden ringing one of the chicks. There are extended views of sunsets. The tape also incudes visits to the island by Michaela Strachan and Bill Oddie who are both there to film different wildlife programmes.
