The third report, also with Mairi MacIver who speaks with Lord Joicey inside The Lady Waterford Hall in the estate village of Ford in the Cheviot Hills about the murals painted by Louisa Beresford, Marchioness of Waterford that feature local schoolchildren. Following the break, a visit to a wood near Haltwhistle in Northumberland where Tony Willis keeps ferrets which are still used in the time-honoured technique to hunt rabbits. In the final report, Jessica meets Rob Strachan who is an expert in Water voles and is conducting a nationwide survey. They talk about what makes voles different from rats and where these creatures can be found along riverbanks. |
