Taken by members of a rock climbing group in Sheffield, this amateur film was filmed during a climbing trip around Scotland.
The film opens with a trip across a Scottish lake. We see the men set up camp at the bottom of a mountain before they start to make their way up through a ravine. In open ground they trek towards the nearby snow-capped peak. When they reach a high point before the actual assent, the filmmaker shows them with the mountain range in the background. They then make their way up. The film cuts to the bottom where there is still snow and rocks they, pose for the camera. The film then cuts to Ben Nevis distillery where they get out of their car.
Cut to a snowy scene. Cut to a sunny day where they are filmed boarding a ferry. Shots from the car show the countryside, lakes, mountains and rivers. Good panning shots show a fishing village, the people and a trip they take on a boat. They then continue in their car. At a lake or possibly the sea we then see them have fun swimming.
Cut to the campsite and the group sit together, after scenes of them relaxing the men then head off to climb another rock face. An extensive sequence shows them as they gradually make their way up the mountain again without these of any equipment other than rope. A good shot shows them from another peak as they reach a high summit
The film then cuts back to another day at the campsite where they are having food. They then pack up their stuff and get in their cars and head off home. We see the countryside and lakes they pass before the film closes.
