A car comes to a stop along a snow- and ice-covered country road before heads off along the same road passing a man filming or taking a photograph of the vehicle. Phantom car ride along the said snow-covered county road passing bare tree. It comes to a stop.
A pair of wellington boot clad feet stomping in the snow before they turn and walk away toward a fence. A red post box changes to the man in the wellington boots climbing over the fence into a snow-covered field where he begins to chase after a rabbit. A woman lays beside the rabbit in the snow stroking its fur.
The car seen previously reverses into the road before driving away. On a bend in the road the car speeds past followed by a snow plough coming in the opposite direction. The car come back around the curb at speed skidding on the ice. A phantom car ride as the vehicle drives and skids around the bend followed by a man running and them skidding along the road. The car once again drives past along another section of road and skids as it turns to the right.
The film changes from winter to summer and a crowd watching as the car seen previous, now with the number '7' stencilled drivers-side door, heading off from a starting point of a race along the driveway of Blagdon Hall. Four open-top veteran car plus the vehicle with the number '7' stencilled along the side, drive past around a bend in the road. A crowd gathers around a table as a woman presents two trophies to three men.
Crowds wonder around a convoy of veteran or vintage cars parked along the main street of a town believed Alnwick. The convoy slow begins to move off. It stops and a couple sitting in one of the vehicles turns to look at the camera. The cars move off again and drive along a main street with many turning into the entranceway of a garage. A label or badge in the window of a vehicle, the shot is out of focus and unreadable. Another car turns into the garage.
From the crowds lining a street in Newcastle policemen on horseback ride past. Behind them a coach and horses travel past followed by a man dressed as St George dressed in chainmail and wearing a red and white cross tunic. Behind them a decorative float in the shape of a galleon from the Newcastle Corporation passes followed by men dressed in historic military uniforms. More decorative floats drive past including one with Chelsea Pensioners sitting on the back who all wave at the crowds. On another two women wearing can-can dresses lifting their legs up to the crowds.
A unit of soldier's marches past followed by a marching band in red tunics and bearskin hats and another in kilts and playing the bagpipes. Several army vehicles drive past, one pulling an artillery piece. A Pickford's lorry drives past, on the back a group of girls waving at the crowd. Behinds them a float of workers from Vickers-Armstrong, the motto across the top of the float reading 'Gannin Alang the Scotswood Road'. More decorative floats drive past as well as several groups of costumed characters and two men riding penny-farthing bicycles and a man wearing an oversized head. The film ends on a tank being driven past.
