This amateur film is a detailed film that shows a family skiing holiday in Scotland. This amateur film is a detailed film that shows a family skiing holiday in Scotland. The film opens at the residential street where the family live.  They get into a small car with a full roof rack with old style skis and drive off.  Then in the Scottish countryside the car is parked on the road, the mountains can be seen behind them. The family arrive at a campsite where they set up their tents among other campers.  Men sit around a camp fire and make some food.  The filmmaker’s wife starts unpacking their belongings.  The children play on a makeshift swing on a nearby tree.  The mother helps push the smallest one who cannot reach the floor. The film then cuts to show them walking across a bridge and then going to explore the countryside.  By a waterfall the children paddle as the father climbs across the rocks that jut out of the water.  The filmmaker then shows the skyline and mountains at dusk. Another day and all is busy as the campsite.  The men walk off with their old style skis towards a nearby snowy mountain.  The camera shows them walking up, skiing and then returning to the site.  Back at camp children two children of about seven prepare to ski.  They too walk off with their small skis to the peaks. We then see them skiing around the mountain together. Later the family pack up and head for home.  As the mother takes tent down, the children play underneath.  The car then heads off through the mountain region.  They stop at a lake and take a walk before going to the Forth Bridge ferry.  The film closes showing the cars leave the boat.
