St Georges Day Parade
The film opens at Clifford's Tower in York. Guides and Brownies stand together before they process with Scouts and Cubs through the city, down Coney Street, and into the York Minster where they will attend a special service. On a sunny day, Brownies are lined up in the Museum Gardens in York. The abbey ruins can be seen in the background. They then proceed to process down Bootham before ending up at the York Minster. Spectators line the procession route.
Title - North Yorkshire Moors Visit
At the Brownie headquarters in Heworth we see the Brownies head off to the North York Moors and Pickering steam train station. As the Brownies stand together on the platform Brown Owl does a head count before they board the train that has just pulled in. They stop at Goathland where they alight to then take a walk on the moors. At Darnholm they take a picnic before walking along a river bank. The steam train comes around the bend behind them before they paddle in the shallows of the river. The film closes with them returning to Goathland station where they board the train for home.
