A montage of images showcasing some of the events that feature in this film begins with a motorcycles carefully traverses steep incline, members of the Lambretta Club Northumbria departing from the Benton Oval Service Station in followed by members setting up for a race as part in a scooter rally. The sequence ends on a man on skiing past down a hillside and falling over at the bottom.

Title: Easter in Scotland
A Scottish landscape with a large house or building in the distance. A group of men and women walk through a Scottish glen, each are carrying skis. A woman slowly skis down a slope, she falls on occasion but gets back up. A man now takes to the slopes and ski cautiously along a snowy incline. Several other people ski past towards the base of the hill they are skiing, several fall over into the snow.

A man knocks on a large door, written in stone about it the word ‘Bar’. Outside a crowd of men and women standing around their scooters looking at a map. Nearby three women sits on a wall, one of them lights up a cigarette. Three scooters with sidecars parked in a driveway, the film focuses on the feet and legs of several individuals.
Scooters gather at a rural service station where some are being checked over while others are filled with fuel. Scooters are parked up beside a stone wall beside a main road, club members make final preparations for the off. Four scooters arrive and park up near to a van, two people look inside the van which has writing on the door that reads ‘Douglas 7516’.
A Scottish valley with a small road passing through it, below a scooter drives past followed by two more who take a sharp bend travelling upwards past the camera. They all pull up beside a stone wall, they get of their scooters and one of them speaks with the others. Along a narrow woodland track scooter navigate around a series of bollards.

Sunrise in Newcastle with the sunlight passing through the windows of two double-decker buses travelling past along a road. The sunrise continues but filmed in stop-motion with figures appearing and disappearing between each frame.
A group of men come out of a building and make their way towards their scooters parked in a line beside a small garden area, some put on crash helmets. All the scooters have numbers in their windscreens. Some sit on their bikes ready to depart, a group of men stand together chatting. Scooters begin to leave one at a time is followed by a phantom scooter ride along a country road following another scooter in front passing through a village and an oil tanker travelling in the opposite direction.
At a checkpoint beside a house a young man leans against a bollard while his female companion speaks with scooter riders as they pass. A man walks up the road past the house towards a parked car, scooters drive past through a village. A phantom ride along country road through a valley passing a tractor parked beside a drystone wall. The car comes to a stop to allow a woman to herd her cattle past, it continues following other scooters in front along a single-track road. A woman gets off a scooter to open a gate, the car pulls up just behind.
Outside a pub a group of riders gather around another who looks tired and thirsty, a woman comes out of the pub with a glass of water which she feeds him, He smiles with satisfaction before departing. Two different men get off their scooter walking into a pub and come out again looking refreshed. Another phantom car ride along a country road following a scooter in front.
At a petrol stations scooters parked up both in the garage and on the verge the other side of the road. Scooters drive past, two women walk past one of whom sticks her tongue out at the camera. A man looks in the cab of a lorry, he and another man look at the broken front headlights of the vehicle. A third man comes over a jokingly puts his finger in the socket and pretends to get a shock. Three men in sunglasses sleep beside a stone wall, nearby a couple embrace. Back on the road a phantom car ride passing several scooters with them then follows behind.
In a field club members play a game in which they ride their scooter a short distance before the man and woman on one vehicles climbs off and they both get in a sack together for a sack race. A crowd watches as they laugh and jump towards the finish line. More games featuring scooters follow including one involving the passenger on a scooter having to move a tyre with a stick and another where the tyres on the scooter need to be re-attached.

Outside Ferryhill town hall on Chapel Terrace members of the Lambretta Club Northumbria stand chatting. The film cuts to two women and a man now standing in a layby beside a field chatting happily. They sit on the grass verge looking at a map. Back in Ferryhill scooters parked in a street.
Title: Stirling Hill Climb
Crowds watch from the side-lines as several scooters attempt to traverse a steep rocky incline. Some of the sequences are filmed in reverse with scooters appearing to drive backwards down the hill.
Members of the club stop in a field, some of the men change outfits. A game of football being played in the field, the women watching from the side-lines. At half-time the team pose together with everyone smiling followed by the second half.
A woman sits on a scooter, a poster attached to her vehicle promotes a ‘Scooter Rally’ taking place at Langley Park in Whitley Bay. Scooters head off along a road. Pedestrians cross a busy city road; scooters wait at a junction for traffic to clear. A large sign for ‘Queen’s Hall’ in Newcastle.
Three men make their way onto the beach at Whitley Bay where a group of men and women are waiting. Some of the group play fight, others play a game of football in the sand.
[B&W] On a stage five women wearing headphones and hand muffs perform a dance routine for an unseen audience. Six men come out onto the stage and also perform a comical dance. Another man plays a trumpet, another does a reading from a large book. A third man appears to perform with a hand-puppet. Several other men appear briefly, all appearing to perform a different routine including a man performing magic. Six women perform a synchronised exercise or dance routine, three men appear and join in. A cowboy comedy routine follows next with the show ending on two men in can-can dresses performing the can-can.
