Rowland Maughan as ‘Simple Simon’ helps ‘Daisy the Cow’ for the first of several comedy routines. The production continues with several song and dance routines featuring performers of various ages The production features the first use of UV lights that show both sea creatures and a decorative garden.
The production over Rowland Maughan comes in front of the curtains and invites a group of children onto the stages. He sing’s a version of ‘The Merry Month of May’ before asking each of the children where they had come from and what they got for Christmas. He asks one girl to accompany him in singing along to ‘The Merry Month of May’ before they all leave the stage.
The stage curtain opens again as the music begins, no one appears. After a moment dancer come out an perform a final routine after which the cast make an encore. They stop, leave the stage, and perform the encore again. They sing a final song and the curtain closes.
