An old-fashioned record player has been set up on a stool and the children start to dance around it. They dance around in pairs, spin, twist and jump whilst a group of other children stand and watch. They then perform a conga around the playground before a slow motion sequence shows them dancing in a circle. They continue to dance occasionally stopping to look at the camera. Title-The Top Class Girls. Next we see a group of teenage girls who also dance for the camera in the playground. We see them dance up and down both together and singularly, weaving around one another as they go. As they continue to dance the camera again goes into a slow motion sequence where we see them slowly dancing up and down in a circle. The film closes as they continue to dance.
