The stage curtain opens revealing a painted set. Performers come onto the stage to take part in their pantomime which incorporates elements from several different pantomimes including Cinderella and Aladdin. The production features many different song and dance routines performed by dancers of various ages with elements taken from other film and theatrical works such as The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan. The final part of the performance includes a sing-along with the audience followed by the full cast making an appearance on stage to take a bow, one of them is wearing a costume in the shape of a cake with ‘50th Anniversary Year’ printed on the front. The film ends on the cast waving to the audience and the curtains closing.
