The fourth and final film produced by Bryan McIvor is of the presentation of prizes to the winners of the George Allan Memorial Brass Band Contest taking place inside the Shildon Workingmens Club on the 25th April 1992.
On a stage a table on which sit various trophies. Three men and two women sit behind the table as the announcer introduces them. One of the men gets to his feet and addresses the audience. He is an adjudicator, and he gives his honest opinion about their playing.

The fourth and final film produced by Bryan McIvor is of the presentation of prizes to the winners of the George Allan Memorial Brass Band Contest taking place inside the Shildon Workingmens Club on the 25th April 1992.

Trophies are then presented beginning with 3rd prize to Cockerton Silver Band. A representative from the band comes onto the stage and is presented with a £50 cheque and the Bob Anderson Memorial Trophy by George Brandreth, Chairman of the Durham County Brass Band League. George Brandreth makes a speech about George Allan and this competition.
The 2nd prize is won by Bolden Colliery Band and is presented by Tom Pringle, President of the Durham County Brass Band League. A woman comes onto the stage to the applause of the audience and is presented with a cheque for £100 and the George Allan Knights Templar trophy. Tom Pringle makes a speech.
Members of Enfield Main Colliery shout with joy when their name is called out to be the winners of George Allan Memorial Brass Band Contest. A man from the band comes onto the stage to be presented with a cheque for £260 and the George Allen Venerable Cup by Miss Dorothy Miller. She then makes a speech about the competition.
A prize for the Junior Soloist is won by Hadfield Band Summer School(?), the members of the band almost drowning out the announcer with cheers on hearing of their win. A young man comes forward to collect a trophy from a woman.
The final prize of the day for the Highest Placed band which goes to the Yorkshire and Humberside Association Band. The announcer pauses as a woman makes her way to the stage shouting out ‘we are the champions!’. She is presented with the George Allan Raby Cup by Miss Dorothy Miller. With the prize giving over people begin to leave the stage.
