Two bridesmaids and a pageboy climb out of a car parked outside the church and head inside. Guests arrive and make their way into the church. The two bridesmaids and a pageboy pose for the camera outside the church, they shiver in the cold. One of the bridesmaids is a small girl. An old man walking with two sticks arrives at the church, inside guests are seated in pews with the groom and best man seated at the front near the altar. The priest appears and the congregation rises as the bride and her father make their way along the aisle towards the altar. The priest begins the service with the film cutting forward to the declaration of vows. The priests blesses the couple with holy water and the couple exchange rings. At a sanctum the priest chats with the younger bridesmaid and pageboy while the bride and groom fill out the marriage registers and sign their certificates. A woman assists the couple and their witnesses with the registers, the priest watches from the background chatting with the older bridesmaid. Family and friends watch on as photographs are taken of them completing the register. The service over the couple and their guests leaves the church followed by the priest. The couple pose for photographs at the high altar followed by inside the wedding car outside. They are driven away. At the reception the bride and groom stand beside a set of curtains, nearby the best man and older bridesmaid. Around the room guests sit at tables chatting over drinks. A table on which sits a three-tiered cake, beside it tables laid out with buffet food. An older couple stands beside the bride and the film ends with the couple and their family being posed for more photographs.
