A commissioned film produced by Bryan McIvor of FE Entertainment of the wedding of Elaine Watson and Guy Barker at St Peter’s Church in Stockton-on-Tees taking place in Saturday 30th July 1983. The film begins with the arrival of guests at the church. Many decide to stand outside chatting rather than go inside until the arrival of the bride. She arrives with her father in a vintage car, and after some official photograph’s heads inside. Following the wedding service more photographs taken in the doorway of the church. Title: FE Entertainments present St Peter’s Church on Yarm Road in Stockton-on-Tees. Three women stand beside cars parked in the driveway of the church; guests walk past making their way towards the church entrance. A group of nine guests stand the other side of the car park chatting and smiling happily. The groom flanked by two best men walk along a pathway around the side of the church. A car pulls into the driveway past groups of wedding guests stand in the shade of trees chatting. Two couples walk along Yarm Road towards the church. Two bridesmaids arrive by car and stand chatting with a woman in the driveway, other guests continue to stand around outside the church chatting. The bridesmaids pose for official photographs. People begin to head into the church passing both the bridesmaids and parish vicar standing by the doorway. The bride and her father arrive in a vintage car, she is helped with her veil by the photographer as it gets stuck in the car door. With photographs taken both beside the car and in the church doorway the wedding party head inside. Cars parked outside the church near to a stone crucifix. Bridesmaids and wedding guest come out of the church, some standing in the entranceway chatting others moving out into the driveway. The happy couple come out of the church and the film ends with them being photographed both on their own as well as with family and friends
