A ferry docked along a quayside changes to Joanna and Richard sitting on deckchairs at the stern of the boat. Around them other passengers are either reading or chatting. Passengers watch from the deck as the vessel manoeuvres towards its docking berth.
Joanna and Richard look down from the window of a hotel or guest house, in the near distance a stone bridge crosses a river. Richard and Joanna enjoy a picnic in a field changes to them walking around the grounds of a castle with Richard wonders around the battlements. The two of them walk in a field made up of rows of grape vines. They walk along a road and admire the vines growing in the trellis on the side of a house or building.
A traffic jam changes to Joanna walking along a pathway towards whitewashed houses or chalets built on the side of a hill. Beside a swimming pool they both strip down to their bathing costumes, in the pool a race begins watched by Joanna and Richard
Richard looks out from a hotel balcony changes to a buffet restaurant and Richard collecting a plate of food and taking it back to a table to eat with Joanna. A member of staff tends to food cooking on a flame-grill.
A crowd of people sit on rocks watching others swim or snorkel in the sea below. A group of men and women walk and then begin to jog around a small football pitch before taking part in an exercise routine.
A crowd of guests makes their way down to boats moored along a concrete quayside, several are carrying scuba diving tanks. Guests sit around the hotel complex; Joanna sits at a table writing. Inside the hotel restaurant Richard helps himself to food from a large buffet table. There are many decorative trays of food laid out.
Guests stand around a bar at the hotel drinking and chatting changes to a man riding a donkey through the complex. A woman follows him smacking the animal’s backside getting it to move faster, other guests follow.
A member of the hotels staff looks over the food laid out on trays changes to Richard and Joanna walking along a seafront onto a rocky beach. Back at the hotel Joanna and Richard both swim in the pool. They get out, Richard drying himself as other guests take part in a race in the pool.
In the sea a young man in snorkelling gear and flippers holds something above his head. On the beach Richard joins a small group in a game of volleyball.
Guest climb aboard a boat which has pulled up along the concrete quayside, other go up and down stone steps to and from the hotel. Joanna sits nearby as the boat pulls away heading out to sea. The film ends with the boat returning.
