Several women, including Joanna, walks along a road. Inside a large marquee crowd inside wonder past looking over displays of colourful flowers.
In a garden a man lights a cigarette for a woman who is sitting on a deckchair, he sits down as well. Beside them another couple, they chat. Inside a hutch a rabbit eats from a bowl. The group in the garden sit around relaxing, a tray of drinks is brought out. Everyone chats over their drinks.
On the edge of a rocky shoreline Joanna and Richard, in his swimming trucks sits relaxing.
Joanna holds a pistol followed by Richard.
At a country fair Richard and Joanna join a crowd watching a police dog demonstration. Nearby a demonstration with a bird of prey followed by a several wagons riding past being pulled by draft horses.
In the garden of the family home a group of well-dressed men and women chat over a meal which they eat from plates resting on their knees. A bus is parked outside the front of the house, people stand around chatting. The bus leaves.
Joanna and Richard walk along a driveway outside a large house. Inside a seated audience listen to a boy’s choir performing. Outside again a crowd of men and women stand around chatting, one wears a dog-collar. Many of the women on bright dresses turn and pose for the camera.
Two women and a man carry packages walk across the family lawn, one of the women drops her packages at the rear of a Mini-Cooper van. Several men and women stand around chatting, two boys including Richard stand nearby.
Richard and Joanna together on the platform of Bank Top railway station in Darlington. Joanna now onboard she and Richard hug.

At an airport three boys look over a series of jets parked on the runway. They watch from a distance as the aircraft take off and perform an aerobatic display in the sky. From a viewing area atop the terminal building a man watches an airplane come into land. A stairway is brought over to the plane cutting to Joanna coming along a walkway to be greeted by Richard. Gifts are passed around to other guests in a seated area.
A group including Richard and Joanna pose for the camera. Richard and another boy pretend to lift weights with the wheels of a go-kart. On the street outside Richard and several other boy take turns riding in the go-kart.
In the family garden Richard bounces past riding a Space hopper, two younger boys take turns riding as well.

Inside a house a group of small children sit on the floor, around them their parents chatting. Richard comes out of the front door of the family home, around his head a mask made from paperchains. Others come outside posing for the camera in the doorway.
Three boys, including Richard, climb over a dry-stone wall and walk along a track beside a fast-flowing river below. They meet up with two women.
In the doorway of a house two women stand chatting, the younger woman holds a wicker basket containing a baby. Several people come over and look at the baby before it is placed into the back of a car.
A group including Joanna walk around the exterior of a Tutor-style house, a woman reads to the group from a brochure. A small boy is lowered down a ladder from the house. The group stands out the front of the house in a street.
Outside another house the group rub their hands from the cold. Joanna and a man in a field containing a horse and donkey. Geese walk past. The two of them walk along the drive towards a large house accompanied by two dogs one of which runs around he large lawn area in front of the house.
