The town of Lourdes with pedestrians coming out of a building ‘Au Vatican’; about them another building built into the cliffs. More pedestrians as well as vehicles travel along a street in the town, views of the various hoardings above shops and businesses.
Inside the Palais du Rosair large crowds walking past various Catholic imagery and sculptures. A hotel in a rural location changes to a road atop of which is the Sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes. Nearby a street vendor selling postcards and people walking past. Along another road a group sit on chairs in the shade while other pilgrims walk past. A man holds up a decorative banner, another group of pilgrims comes out of a church.
From an elevated position a procession of pilgrim’s snake along a pathway changes to a religious service taking place inside a church. Back outside large crowds, some in wheelchairs, stand around The Grotto of Massabielle while others park past in the background.
Large crowds watch from a bridge as a religious procession taking place on Rosary Square as it way past the grotto and a long road towards the Sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes. The procession comes back past the grotto, many are wearing white gowns, other in vestments and some carrying decorative banner. The film ends on the crowds disbursing.
