A number of flags fly from the side of a large building, on the roof a Union Jack flutters in the wind. Pedestrians and traffic, including a number of red double-decker buses, move along Fleet Street decorated with colourful bunting, flags and Union Jacks. A banner across Peterborough House reads ‘Daily Telegraph’. Nearby on the Strand the Royal Courts of Justice were various flags fly from poles outside. More decorations adorn the Temple Bar monument.
Another building, this time decorated with a large silhouette of King George V and Queen Mary and the words ‘Our Home Our King Our Empire’ above the entrance. ‘God Save the King’ is written atop the silhouette while around it various Royal heraldic shields and emblems. Atop the building a statue of Britannia.
Buses and cars travel along more streets decorated with bunting and flags which also adorn many of the buildings. Banners along the reads and in crested with the initials ‘G.R’. A golden statue of Britannia surrounded by golden lions, more flags fluttering in the wind.
Crowds watch from the pavement as a procession of soldiers on horseback parade past. Lining the route more soldiers with their rifles in the present arms position. The Royal carriage carrying King George V and Queen Mary ride past followed by other carriage containing other members of the Royal family, some of whom wave at the crowds.
