A formal visit or inspection is recorded showing the Guides marching in formation past a man in military dress uniform as well as demonstrating First Aid. With formal events over the girls have fun splashing about in the sea, while their leaders pose for the camera back near the camp.
A Girl Guide leader in dress uniform and carrying a batten under her arm walks across a field past a wooden barrack building towards a troop of Guides standing to attention. Two flags or standards are carried by several girls, several circular canvas tents are erected nearby.
A band of drummers leads the troop of Guides as they march in formation through a gate into a lane, a man standing at the gate salutes as they pass. Each of the girls has a First Aid bag slung across their shoulders.
Two Guide leaders watches as two girls practice First aid on a third girl in the entrance of one of the circular tents. Bandages are wrapped around the patient’s neck.
A man in military uniform carrying a ceremonial sword takes the salute from the Girl Guides who march past in formation. Three girls march past carrying a flag or standard, a second flag is presented by the man in military uniform to three Guides. It is them carried past the troop who are now standing on both sides, beside a flagpole the drummers seen previously perform. The sequence ends on two women cleaning a bowl beside the barrack building.
On a beach a group of young women in bathing costumes smile and wave at the camera. They rush into the sea splashing and playing in the surf.
Near to a cliff edge five women in Girl Guide leader uniforms stands beside a man in a dog-collar and older man in military uniform with medals. They each look at smile at the camera. The women march past the man in uniform saluting, the film ends on a close-up of one of the women who salutes at the camera and smiles.
