A short amateur film recording various terraced streets and back alleys under demolition believed to be in the Stockton-on-Tees area. As well as terraced streets the film also records premises of some local businesses including Charles Ingles (Printers) Ltd and Tillston Motorcycles.
The film opens on a precinct of shops and a woman looking at the camera.
The film changes to a series of terraced streets and back alleys. Many of the houses appear derelict, possibly about to be demolished. In front of the houses is an area of waste ground, on the horizon two large cranes and other construction equipment can be seen.
A sign hanging above one building reads ‘Charles Ingle (Printers) Ltd', another sign on a shop front nearby reads ‘J. Round &Son's'. All the businesses appear boarded up, other businesses nearby include ‘Tillston Motors and Motorcycles’
Another view follows of a modern precinct of shops, nearby a car drives past a large area of waste ground. A large pile of building rubble lies on waste ground and nearby views show more terraced streets.
Another hoarding above a business is incomplete, but reads ‘...oywork and Tool Supplies’. A view of another terraced street follows, this one is occupied with a number of cars parked in it and ends the film.
