The music takes a temporary break so that trophies and shields can be presented to a number of local patrons. With formalities over people return to their drinks and conversations and the musicians return to the stage. The film ended with the audience singing and clapping along, some getting up to dance.
On stage at the Billingham Trade Union & Social Club a couple are performing, the woman in a long red dress singing while her male partner in a red shirt accompanies her on vocals while also playing guitar. Patrons of all ages sit around tables chatting over predominately pints or half-pints of beer, some smoke cigarettes. Around one table two couples play a game of dominoes. Many on seeing the camera passing look up and smile, one-man places two empty glasses to his eyes for a joke. Beside the bar a group of men chat, a couple hug and the women behind the bar serve customers.
On stage the man is now playing a banjo while singing. The film changes and a long table is now on the stage with various sizes trophies and shields setup on it with four men standing behind. Eight men followed by four women make their way onto the stage to collect their trophies, the men shake hands with two of the men seen previously standing behind the table, the women getting a kiss on the cheek. The audience applauds then returns to their drinks and conversations. Some of the women drink from their trophies, a man with his arm around an older woman kisses her on the cheek.
Everyone is enjoying themselves and chatting happily, a couple seeing the camera kiss, while others get up and dance. The female singer from the start of the film stands on the stage singing and playing a tambourine. She and her partner standing beside her playing a banjo, are wearing green outfits with the audience singing and clapping along to the music. Others in the audience dance on a dance floor. The film ends with the song coming to an end and the man saying thank you to the audience.
