The match takes place on a field in Haverton Hill overlooked by the Furness Shipbuilding Company with both sides attacking the goal but no goals being recorded scored. The match is believed to be taking place during Easter possibly coinciding with the annual Easter bonnet parade at the Empire Social Club which also features on this reel of film. A team in blue shirts kick a football around near their goal waiting for a match to begin. Nearby a second team in yellow shirts kick a football about, in the distance the hull of a tanker sits on the slipway at the Furness Shipbuilding Company. The two captains watch as a coin is tossed, the team in yellow win the toss to kick off. The match gets underway watched by a small crowd of spectators standing along the touchline. Both teams gain possession of the ball making attempts at goal. At half-time both teams sit on the ground resting before the second half gets underway. The goalkeeper throws the ball into play, on the horizon the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge. Again, both teams have possession of the ball, but the film ends on no goals being scored.
