The match take place on a field in Haverton Hill overlooked by the Furness Shipbuilding Company and is believed to taking place during Easter following the annual Easter bonnet parade which features in the previous film on this reel.
On a field on a windy and chilly day two captains shake hands and watch as a coin is tossed deciding who kicks off. The match gets underway between one team all in red and the other in blue tops. Shots are made at goal watched by a number of spectators standing around the edge of the pitch. Beside the blue team's goal several attempts by the red team are made but none successful. The game continues for the remainder of the film but neither side appears to score.
