Trophies are presented to several well-dressed men as well as a woman. With formalities over the men and women get down to enjoying themselves over pints of beer chatting, laughing, kissing and ballroom dancing. Inside the Billingham Trade Union & Social Club a presentation is being made of several various sized silver trophies to a number of men by and a woman wearing an elegant dress. Around the club well-dressed patrons of various ages sit around small tables chatting happily, the men drinking pints of beer, some smile at the camera as it passes by. At the bar a man finished his pint of beer in one go. The barman holds up another pint glass of beer, around him stand four barmaids. On the bar a tray holds seven pints of beer. A number of men and women standing at the bar chat while waiting for their drinks. Men and women sitting at table chat happily over their drinks, a woman at one table kisses the men sitting next to her. Another woman laughs as she takes a drink from one if the trophies. She passes it to the woman next to her. On the dance floor couple dance around the room. A couple pose for the camera before kissing. Others sitting at their tables continue to drink, chat, and watch others dancing. Another couple at the back of the room kiss each other for the camera. A group of women sitting against a wall chat happily, the camera focuses on the legs of a young woman sitting closest to the camera.
