An amateur film produced by Bryan McIvor of a presentation event taking place inside the clubhouse at Billingham Golf Club. A young couple are presented with a bouquet and a box of silver homeware. The film changes to a fancy-dress party with many of the women dressed as hippies. The film ends on the dance floor with everyone dancing along to a local pop band.
In the clubhouse at Billingham Golf Club a group of men and women enjoy drinks. A man speaks into a microphone, a woman standing beside him holds a large box. A young couple come forward and a bouquet is presented to the woman and the box to the man. Two men applaud and those in the room watch as the woman opens the box which contains another smaller box with a silver teapot inside. The bouquet is passed around, the mainly women present chat to one another over more drinks. A man drinks the contents of a silver cup, couples around him watching with interest.
A number of women in the clubhouse have changed into ‘hippy’ style clothing, some wear long beaded necklaces others colourful shirts and large sun glasses. Many also have sweat bands in their hair. Most of the men are still wearing suits, however one man is wearing a shirt with cravat. The camera pans around the room showing men and women chatting and smiling. At the bar four men stand chatting, one holds a bottle of beer. A man sitting at a table wears a wig which he ruffles with his hand.
A man standing nearby plays a guitar, another plays a set of drums. On the dance floor men and women dance along to the groovy tunes. The music stops and a woman with a flower in her hair applauds. Around the room more dancing, many of the women wearing colourful tops. The film ends with more dancing, some of the men have discarded their blazers and ties
