An amateur film produced by Bryan McIvor featuring several international dancers and musicians performing inside the Billingham Trade Union & Social Club on Pentland Avenue in Billingham, probably as part of the annual Billingham International Folklore Festival taking place that August. A group of musicians and dancers makes their way into an auditorium inside the Billingham Trade Union & Social Club to the applause of seated patrons. On a dance floor in front of a stage the troupe begin to perform a folk dance watched by a large audience both seated and standing around the room. On the stage a woman sings into a microphone accompanied by a group of musicians behind her. Another group of dancers perform for the audience, the woman sings again with the dancers now sitting on the floor in front of her. The audience applaud as another group perform their routine of traditional dance. Around the room the audience watch with interest over pints of beer. On stage musicians perform, the dancers once again sitting on the floor beneath them. A woman on stage speaks into a microphone and the audience begin to applaud. The film ends on patrons of the club mainly seated against the wall drinking and chatting happily.
