A group of musicians and dancers makes their way into an auditorium inside the Billingham Trade Union & Social Club to the applause of seated patrons. On a dance floor in front of a stage the troupe begin to perform a folk dance watched by a large audience both seated and standing around the room.
On the stage a woman sings into a microphone accompanied by a group of musicians behind her. Another group of dancers perform for the audience, the woman sings again with the dancers now sitting on the floor in front of her.
