A parade of women wearing various types of Easter bonnet is followed by footage of the patrons enjoying themselves over drinks. Many begin singing, possibly as an accompaniment to two men in drag singing on a stage alongside a band.
A man in a flat cap sitting against a wall under a window waves his arms around dramatically and bangs his fists on the table in front of him.
A parade of women all wearing variously decorative Easter bonnets walk around the club passing patrons mainly sitting around small tables chatting and generally drinking pints of beer. A woman sits on a man’s knees smiling, a group standing at the back of the room clap and cheer.
Some of the women seen parading now sit around a table still wearing their bonnets, others stand at the back of the room. Two women wearing bonnets sitting against a wall begins to sing. A man has his arm around the young woman sitting next to him, the table in front of them full of empty pint glasses and beer bottles. The camera pans around the room passing men and women drinking happily together, some singing. A young woman in a yellow dress sits on a young man’s knees. He is wearing her Easter bonnet.
On a nearby stage two men in women’s dresses and bonnets sing into microphone accompanied by a band playing behind them. Many in the club accompany them while others simply listen including three women working behind the bar. Some of the men are now wearing silly hats to accompany the women in bonnets. People continue chatting happily, some smile at the camera as it passes. The crowd listen to the band performing on stage, one man with a moustache plays saxophone, beside him a man plays guitar. The film ends with more views of merry men and women around the club chatting, some with their arms around each other.
