A home movie produced by Alan Shakespere featuring a young family in Albert Park Middlesbrough, a woman and child together in the centre of Middlesbrough, and children having a snowball fight. The final part features various professional skaters performing various displays on the roller-skating rink inside Albert Park.
A family arriving at the home of an older woman and her helping a toddler to walk along the pavement outside her house. A man carries an older boy on his shoulders and merrily dances along the street.
Inside Albert Park the family walks around the water fountain in the middle of the park. They continue to walk through the park past other people and decorative flower beds. The statue of Henry Bolckow and the fountain in operation feature. Two children are pushed by their parents on swings in a playground followed by the boy coming down a slide. The woman and children sit on a roundabout as the man pushes them.
The woman and one of the children sit on steps outside a building in the centre of Middlesbrough. The toddler walks cautiously along the path. They feed pigeons near a busy road intersection, behind them pedestrians walk past a number of shop fronts. They walk past a statue and what appears to be a large chimney.
A man walks towards and gets into a car before driving off. The older woman seen previously plays with the two children now sitting on a two-seated tricycle. The man and woman help the children on the tricycle pedal along the pavement.
From an upstairs window, snow covers the roofs of the houses opposite; the tower of the fire station on Park Road South stands in the near distance.
Two children stand in the street outside the house, a man holding a dog in the front garden comes towards them and opens the door to a car parked in the road. He goes to pick up the dog and puts it in the car as the two children play nearby on the pavement.
A small group has a snowball fight in the garden of the house. Several people walk along the snow-covered road.
On the roller-skating ring inside Albert Park, a group of professional skaters perform a number of synchronised routines for the watching crowd. A man performs a solo routine followed by another group performance. A man and woman perform a duet on skates and the film ends with a female soloist performing.
