The second of four reels of film produced by David and Joe Brunskill recording events taking place in Shildon marking the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. In this film, more views show people looking over various locomotives and carriages on display at the Shildon Wagon Works as well as a procession through the streets of Shildon of decorative floats, juvenile jazz, and marching bands.
At Shildon Wagon Works crowds look over the various engines and carriages on display including the replica of Locomotion No.1 and an Advanced Passenger Train (APT).
A policeman on horseback rides in front of a marching brass band as it parades along a street passing spectators watching from the pavement. A vintage Royal Mail van drives past followed by the ‘Shildon Royal George’ juvenile jazz band. A decorative float and another marching brass band pass, a traction engine stands parked in the road.
The film returns to the Shildon Wagon Works where people continue looking over the engines and carriages on display. A group of passengers disembark from a train onto a temporary platform. The film ends with more engines on display including the Southern Rail SR Merchant Class 35028 Clan Line.
