Title: Les Thirkettle presents
The film begins with a Scottish military band parading along a road in Redcar making their way towards the seafront, crowds line the route. Following behind a flatbed truck decorated with flowers is being pulled by a tractor. A young woman on a donkey with a young man walking beside her appear to represent Mary and Joseph. They are followed by a man dressed as Fred Flintstone pulling a cart designed to look like one of the cars from the cartoon show.
Majorettes from a juvenile jazz band march in front of their banner, the band is made up of drummers following on behind. A decorative float drives past, its three occupants dancing on a stage are followed by costumed children and a man carrying a small child on his shoulders.
More juvenile jazz bands follow including The Winlaton Vulcanaires, parading along the road along with another decorative float and a vintage fire engine. Each of the bands come to a stop and step in unison before moving on again followed by more costumed children. The film ends with the Felling Royals jazz band marching past.
