An amateur film produced by Peter Carnegie of a number of veteran car rallies and events taking place across the North East and Cumbria during 1963. It includes an event hosted by the Redcar & District Motor Club. The film opens on a number of women sitting in the back of a veteran car. It includes an event hosted by the Redcar & District Motor Club. The film opens on a number of women sitting in the back of a veteran car. The car is one of a number of other vintage vehicles on display in a field. A sign reads ‘TDMC Control’ and a nearby veteran car begins to drive away. Parked on the verge a road a man stands beside his veteran car, another man on a motorbike is parked next to him. A small crowd watch as a number of veteran vehicles drive past beside a series of railway arches. The registration of one red vehicle is ‘BP 1518’. Along a seafront road comes a number of veteran cars and motorcycles, a crowd watches from the pavement. The film changes to the cars and motorbikes driving along an urban street, a factory stands in the background, with onlookers watching the procession. On a field a crowd watches as a number of vehicles drive past slowly. Owners sit beside their vehicles parked side by side enjoying a picnic as people look over their vehicles. From a distance a number of veteran sports cars and motorbikes race at speed around a circuit watched by spectators. Three veteran vehicles are parked in a car park, another vehicle turns in off the road and parks in a line with another seven cars. Each of the eight cars drive past, and a red sports car pulls out from the side of the road. Along the pavement spectators watch as a number of vintage cars drives past. A number of vehicles are parked beside a wooden building, a sign on it reading ‘Redcar & District Motor Club Headquarters’. A number of cars are parked up in the driveway of a large house, men stand around chatting. On a country road a number of veteran cars are parked along the verge, their drivers standing beside their vehicles. A brief phantom car ride follows then the film changes to show a number of steam traction engines travelling slowly around a field. With the traction engines parked people look around them, the livery over one engine reads ‘T.D.Ward, Wolsingham'. A sign below a corner window reads ‘Potter Bros Garage'. A number of vehicles are parked in a small field and the film ends with a man and woman sitting on a motorbike.
