Title: GOLLY at the TATTOO
Four boys sit on a hillside, one drinks a can of soda. Views of posters and a brochure for the Edinburgh Tatoo 1982 change to show visitors making their way to their seats in the surrounding stands.
Onto the showground below march a Scottish military marching band who perform a routine for the watching crowds. Pages from the tattoos brochure are inter-cut with various military bands coming out and performing in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. A boy watches through a set of binoculars as sword dancers perform on the showground. The film ends with the showground filled with each of the bands featured and the lyrics from Auld Lang Syne.
