Title: In Search of the Wooden Horse
From a boat, views follow along the Bosphorus strait, with the city of Istanbul and other traffic on the water. A traveler takes a photograph of Dolmabahçe Palace as they pass. They pass under Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and then pass Rumelihisarı or Boğazkesen Castle.
A view follows of a busy city street in Istanbul with traffic and pedestrian. Next, the film looks down on to the street below and the surrounding cityscape.
A tour group walks under an archway with Arabic written above it as a guide takes the visitors around the outside of the Blue Mosque. wheres hoes stand in a rack. In a busy street, a man has his shoes shined and a boy sells postcards. The group moves onto Topkapı Palace walking through ornate gardens passing a sign that reads ‘Harem’.
A phantom bus ride takes the group to The Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, ornate mosaic adorns the walls inside.
A brochure outlines the Southern Marmara region of Turkey, the film then cuts to a restaurant and a table laid out with grilled fish and a glass of beer. Turkish tea is served. Sailing boats are moored in a marina as a passenger ferry comes into the harbour.
A display of dried flowers and grasses changes to a visit to Haydarpaşa Cemetery, also known as Haidar Pasha Cemetery where there are a number of headstones for fallen British soldiers of World War One.
A ferry journey changes to a view of the replica Trojan Horse of Troy built in the plaza before the modern gates into the ancient city of Troy. A guide gives a history of the horse, visitors look around it as well as the ruins of the city. They visit the location of Athena's Temple and walk beside a fortification wall listening to the guide speak.
