An amateur film produced by James Madden of a group traveling by train to Spalding in Lincolnshire to attend the Spalding Flower Parade. Views from the crowds show decorative floats passing as well as a group riding a number of historic bicycles. Title: Spalding 1975 Onboard a train a group of older women sit at a table talking. A woman and two children play snap at another table. Title: LOOK! Here comes the Parade! A man in blackface walks past a crowd standing along a pavement. He is pushing a pram and holding an umbrella in the air. A policeman on horseback is quickly followed by an all-women marching band and a decorative float, a woman on top waves at the crowd. Another all-female Scottish marching band passes, many of the musicians carrying their bagpipes is followed by a horse-drawn decorative float. Some of the crowd come out onto the road to take photographs as more floats drive past as well as a number of juvenile jazz bands. The film ends by showing a series of historic bicycles riding past including a penny-farthing.
