The film opens on the front of a modern school building, traffic moves past along a road beside it. A woman in a pink dress comes out of the entrance, turns and walks back On a field behind the school, a group of small boys run about near to a rugby post. Against the side of the school wall a group of young girls play a game of rounders. They use a long stick as a bat and nearby trees as bases. A number of balls are thrown and a girl races around all the bases. Another girl catches the ball, but the runner makes it to the base in time. The film ends on another view of the front of the school building.
